According to the USPS 5 million Flag Over Porch linerless stamps were printed and issued
in coils of 100 with or without a dispenser in a test involving 17 selected Northern
Virginia post offices. They were on sale from March 15 to April 30 or until quantities
were extinguished. They were also available by mail order through the Philatelic
Fulfillment Service Center in Kansas City while supplies lasted. The USPS offered
blank backing strips for the collectors to store the stamps. |
